At Redan High School we believe that every student can, will, and must achieve. Redan High School is an accredited public school serving approximately 1,000 students in grades 9-12. The school is located south of Stone Mountain and was established in 1976 as part of the DeKalb County School System. Since its opening, the school has received two major renovations and additions, including a major addition that created a state-of-the-art media center, a fine arts wing, and new science classrooms. Recently, a brand-new turf and track were added.


The faculty and staff's commitment and dedication to the students of Redan High School enable the school to provide a rigorous, well-rounded academic, arts, and athletic programs for scholars. As a learning community, we are focused on improving outcomes for students and placing students at the center of every decision made. Redan High School is a place of innovation where students and staff utilize 21st-century skills to ensure that teaching and learning are occurring at high levels. Students leaving Redan High School will be able to compete and thrive in a global society.

Redan High School's mission is to provide an academic community that fosters a scholar's social, ethical, and academic growth in a safe, encouraging environment that strives to connect the classroom to real-life experiences.

Redan High School's vision is to develop, establish, and maintain a challenging and rigorous academic program to produce well-rounded scholars who will be successful in all areas of their lives.
